Have you ever known someone for so long you can totally picture their smiles, hear their laughs, quote them in pretty much every circumstance, know through text what face they might be making after you read their sassy/sad/happy sentence?

OK, That’s how I think I know Shelby (AKA Tia Chelby).

She is my sister in law, but before that, she is one of my closest friends. We met in Tijuana and one of our 1st outings included a broom, ninja moves, and a 2 am taco run (maybe it was earlier, I cant remember exactly).

We both love doing last minute 14+ hours road trips, discuss about everything and nothing at the same time, fight, obsess about amazing random crap, like underwater volcanoes or etymology.

When it comes to her meeting anyone new, CALL ME JUDY CAUSE I BECOME THE BIGGEST JUDGE (I just cringed at that sentence but it’ll stay to make you cringe as well lol).

ANYWAYYYYYY, Kes showed up and I get to chill cause he’s brought out a side of Shelby I didn’t know; new smiles, new laughs, new glances. All of them SO lovely. Good job, man! (I will still cut you though)
