Dreamy Fall Lake Tahoe Wedding
South Lake Tahoe, pine trees everywhere, first touch and tequila shots in the forest, perfect fall sunny weather, the coziest venue, their closest friends and family, and a LIT dance floor
That’s what Joanna and Joaquin’s wedding was if I had to summarize their day, and that to me sounds ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
Their day started by getting ready at different places. Joanna got ready at an Airbnb and Joaquin got ready at Hotel Azure Tahoe.
They didn’t want to see each other before their ceremony, but decided to have a First Touch where they exchanged vows privately and ended that moment with a shot of tequila Don Julio, which was the perfect warm up for their fun filled wedding day.
After that, we all went to Revive (now known as Lakeview Social Tahoe) where they had their ceremony and reception.
You should have seen Joaquin’s reaction when he saw Joanna walking down the aisle!! With teary eyes and a huge smile, he couldn’t get his eyes off of her. It was the sweetest thing.
After the ceremony and family formals, we ran to the lake and took some photos before the sun went down. We came back to a group of people ready to party, so after dinner, toasts and speeches, we all danced the rest of the time.
